Clinical Audiologist

Job DescriptionSyracuse Hearing Solutions is a full-service audiology practice with multiple locations throughout Syracuse, NY.

They are looking for an experienced Clinical Audiologist to join their dynamic team in Fayetteville, NY.
The Clinical Audiologist will provide a full range of audiological hearing evaluation and diagnostics, including but not limited to vestibular assessment, cochlear implants, APD, and ABR for patients of all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric.
Candidates with interests and experience in any area of audiology are encouraged to apply, as the position may be tailored to the candidate's experiences or interests.
Responsibilities Comprehensive Hearing Assessments:
Conduct thorough hearing evaluations for patients of all ages to assess their hearing abilities.
Hearing aid fittings and full services with all major manufacturers Vestibular Evaluation:
Performing videonystagmography (VNG) and other diagnostic tests to evaluate and manage balance disorders.
Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) Evaluation:
Assess and diagnose APD in patients, recommending appropriate interventions and strategies.
Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Testing:
Perform ABR tests to evaluate auditory nerve function and identify potential abnormalities.
Cochlear Implant:
Performing cochlear implant evaluations and mappings for patients with severe to profound hearing loss.
Aural Rehabilitation:
Develop and implement aural rehabilitation programs to enhance communication skills and quality of life for patients with hearing loss.
Tinnitus Testing and Management:
Evaluate and provide personalized treatment plans for patients experiencing tinnitus.
Real Ear Measurement:
Utilize real ear measurement techniques to verify and fine-tune hearing aid fittings for maximum benefit.
Electroacoustic Assessment:
Evaluate the performance of hearing aids and other auditory devices, making adjustments as needed.
Lyric Hearing Device Management:
Provide fitting, maintenance, and support for Lyric hearing devices.
Requirements Doctor of Audiology (Au.
D.
) degree with 2 years of Clinical experience Valid state licensure as an Audiologist in New York or eligible for licensure.
Strong knowledge of audiological testing techniques, hearing aid technology, cochlear implant mapping, and vestibular evaluation.
Ability to work in a team-oriented and patient-centered environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
